FEI TWIN CITIES LAUNCH OF TRUSTED PEER GROUPS

August 12, 2015

FEI Twin Cities is excited to announce our new Trusted Peer Groups program for senior financial executives! This program will be available to our members beginning in fall of 2015.

Peer groups have become popular because of their ability to increase participant knowledge and performance. They are recognized as a valuable way to help executives succeed both professionally and personally and create meaningful, supportive and long-lasting relationships.

The FEI Trusted Peer Groups program includes independently facilitated monthly meetings where members discuss issues, concerns, challenges, successes, questions of interest, thoughts for the group and selected topics.

Peer groups will be determined primarily by members’ roles/job responsibilities. For example, we may have a CFO peer group and a separate Controller peer group. We may also consider the level of company sophistication, public/private designation and size in determining peer groups.

Professionally facilitated meetings:

We have partnered with The Prouty Project and Sam Smith to facilitate monthly peer group meetings. The Prouty Project is a boutique management consulting firm that specializes in business and people strategies. They exist to creatively STRETCH leaders to achieve bigger goals, bolder strategies and better collaboration. The Prouty Project will host our monthly peer group meetings at their facilities in Eden Prairie. Their Creative Think Tank and Strategic Leadership Lab provide creative meeting space for groups looking to strengthen connections, increase clarity and commit to action.

If you have been considering FEI membership, now is a great time to join!

As a non-profit membership association, FEI has priced this program so that non-members can join FEI and our Trusted Peer Group program for less than what some others charge for their peer group programs alone. This means you gain access to all the outstanding FEI chapter programs and FEI national member benefits in addition to the FEI Trusted Peer Group benefits. Annual fees for this program are $1,500 for existing FEI members.  Individuals who are not currently members of FEI pay $2,300 which includes an annual FEI membership of $800.
