Restoring integrity in the financial system requires rigorous emphasis on values and stewardship among leaders, attending to organizational incentives and culture, and addressing systemic conflicts and pressures across the financial services industry.  While the financial markets have rebounded from the crisis, public trust in financial services lags.  To restore trust, what values do leaders need to embrace?  What changes in organizational structures, incentives and cultures are essential?  Looking broadly at the financial system, what changes are needed to ensure the industry is focused on playing a constructive role in society?

Addressing these questions through a keynote presentation and a robust conversation will be John Taft, CEO of RBC Wealth Management in the U.S., Bethany McLean, contributing editor at Vanity Fair, and Will Johnstone, executive chairman of D.A. Davidson. This discussion will be moderated by Ron James, president and CEO of CEBC.
