About the speaker:
Lori J. Abrams is an award winning faculty member in the Department of Strategic Management at the University Of Minnesota Carlson School Of Management and is a licensed mediator and a highly respected speaker. She is an Organizational Development consultant specializing in negotiation and the communication of change.
Dr. Abrams earned her Ph.D. in Organizational Communication from the University of Minnesota with a research focus in healthcare. At the University level she teaches courses in Negotiation Strategies, Psychology of Management, Strategy Process and Implementation. Outside the University she has extensive experience as an organizational consultant and trainer. Her recent consulting efforts have been in the following areas; Communication and organizational change, conflict management, change management, negotiation, and gender and diversity.
